Paediatrician and Allergologist
Dr. Marshé Maharaj is a dedicated paediatrician and allergologist passionate about providing comprehensive care. She earned her medical degree and completed her postgraduate studies in paediatrics at the University of Pretoria. After several years of practicing as a general paediatrician, Dr. Maharaj developed a keen interest in the field of allergies, which led her to pursue an additional qualification in allergology at the University of Cape Town.
With her dual expertise in paediatrics and allergology, Dr. Maharaj is uniquely equipped to meet the health needs of children and adults with allergies. She is committed to enhancing the quality of life for her patients through personalised and thorough care.
In addition to her private practice, Dr. Maharaj is actively involved in the public healthcare sector, working at the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital. She also contributes to the academic community by training and educating paediatricians and general practitioners in allergy management.
Outside of her professional commitments, Dr. Maharaj enjoys hiking, cooking, and spending quality time with her husband and their two energetic children.
